Totnes Energy Descent Action Plan Update

After a lengthy process of meetings and public workshops the Transition Totnes (TTT) draft Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP) is now available on line for open consultation till the end of August.

The response within TTT to date has been very positive and many of the TTT groups are still reviewing their sections at length. The EDAP with the first round of revisions will be going on line in conjunction with the LocalEyes website during August, to allow people to see each others comments and views and if necessary vote in or out, some of the ideas in the EDAP. The draft EDAP can be accessed here

There is also a collection of themed timelines of material that is being used to inform the main body of the EDAP available online. The timelines comprise pathways of ideas, suggstions and proposals by participants at various public and TTT workshops for actions and projects etc that will lead society towards our visions for 2030. Each document has 3-4 topic pathways which are identified at the top of the timeline which then runs down yearly from 2009 to 2030.

Totnes hope to publish the draft Energy Descent Plan in the Autumn and begin the lengthy process of wider consultation, discussion and above all ACTION!
