Buffy Davies who plays Jolene Perks in The Archers came to Transition Forest Row as part of a series of Future Visioning events.
The popularity of the Archers stems from the sense of community that it has she said. Buffy said that the inclusion of the Transition theme into the programme has resonated well with the audience, in particular because many people live in villages.
